Getting Started

How do I create a celebration for my pet?+

Creating a celebration is easy:

  • Step 1: Click "Explore Grid" to browse the panoramic mural
  • Step 2: Click "Claim a Spot" and select your desired area
  • Step 3: Fill out the form with your pet's name, story, and photo
  • Step 4: Complete payment through our secure checkout

Once approved (usually within 24 hours), your pet will appear on the grid!

What's the difference between a Celebration and a Memorial?+

Celebrations are for living pets! Honor your furry friend for birthdays, adoption anniversaries ("Gotcha Days"), special milestones, or just because they're amazing.

Memorials are lasting tributes to pets who have crossed the rainbow bridge. These include a special 💙 symbol and are designed to honor their memory forever.

You can choose the occasion type during the submission process.

How long does it take for my submission to appear?+

Most submissions are reviewed and approved within 24 hours. While pending, your spot is reserved on the grid (shown as a grey "Reserved" tile) so no one else can claim it.

You'll receive an email notification once your pet goes live!

Can I edit my submission after it's live?+

Yes! You can request changes within 30 days of purchase by contacting us at support@petmoria.com.

What you can change: Photo, pet name, story/message

What you can't change: Grid location and size (these are permanent)

How long will my pet stay on the grid?+

Forever! Unlike social media posts that fade away, Petmoria is designed to be a permanent digital monument. Your pet's celebration or memorial will remain on the grid indefinitely.

We're committed to maintaining the platform for the long term, and we'll never remove paid submissions.

Pricing & Payment

How is pricing calculated?+

Base Pricing:

  • Pet Celebrations/Memorials: $1.50 per square
  • Business Sponsors: $8.00 per square

Zone Pricing: The grid has three zones with different rates:

  • Standard: $1.50/square (outer areas)
  • Premium: $2.25/square (1.5× - middle band)
  • Ultra Premium: $3.00/square (2× - center spotlight)

If your selection spans multiple zones, each square is priced according to its zone.

What discounts are available?+

Volume Discounts (for larger selections):

  • 200-499 squares: 5% off
  • 500-999 squares: 10% off
  • 1,000+ squares: 15% off

Multi-Pet Family Discounts (order multiple pets together):

  • 2 pets: 5% off entire order
  • 3 pets: 10% off entire order
  • 4+ pets: 15% off entire order

Family orders link your pets together in the gallery so visitors can see your whole pet family!

What payment methods do you accept?+

We accept all major payment methods through Stripe:

  • Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
  • Apple Pay & Google Pay
  • Link (Stripe's one-click checkout)

All payments are processed securely through Stripe - we never see or store your card details.

Can I get a refund?+

We offer refunds in the following situations:

  • Before approval: Full refund available
  • Within 24 hours of going live: Full refund available
  • After 24 hours: Refunds are not available

Because grid space is permanently reserved once your celebration goes live, we're unable to offer refunds beyond the 24-hour window. If you're experiencing an issue with your submission, please contact us and we'll do our best to help!

Features

Can I add multiple pets at once?+

Yes! You can add up to 5 pets in a single order. Here's how:

  • Select your first pet's spot and fill out the form
  • Click "Add to Cart" instead of "Checkout Now"
  • Return to the grid and select another spot for your next pet
  • Repeat until you've added all your pets
  • Go to Cart and checkout all together

Multi-pet orders get family discounts (5-15% off) and your pets will be linked together in the gallery!

What is the World Map feature?+

The World Map shows where pets on Petmoria come from around the globe! When you submit your pet, you can optionally provide your location.

Click on any pet in the grid to see their location, or browse the World Map to discover pets from different countries.

Privacy: You can opt out of the map during submission if you prefer not to share your location.

What occasions can I celebrate?+

We support five occasion types:

  • Just Because: Celebrate your pet any day!
  • Birthday: Honor your pet's special day
  • Gotcha Day: Celebrate adoption anniversaries
  • Special Milestone: Custom achievements (training milestones, recovery, etc.)
  • Lasting Tribute: Memorial for pets who have passed 💙
How do I share my pet's spot?+

Every pet on the grid has a unique shareable link! Click on any pet to open their popup, then click the Share button to:

  • Copy a direct link to their spot
  • Share on Facebook, Twitter/X, or other social media

The link will take anyone directly to your pet's location on the grid.

Do I need to create an account?+

No account required! We keep things simple - just provide your email during checkout and you're done.

We'll email you confirmation and approval notifications. If you need to make changes later, contact us with the email you used during purchase.

Charity & Impact

How much goes to charity?+

We donate a significant portion of every purchase:

  • Pet Celebrations: 25% donated to animal welfare
  • Business Sponsors: 30% donated to rescue organizations

Example: On a $100 pet celebration, $25 goes directly to helping animals in need!

Which charities do you support?+

We partner with vetted animal welfare organizations:

  • Global Strays: Rescuing street animals in 47+ countries
  • Humane Society International: Fighting for all animals worldwide
  • FOUR PAWS: International animal welfare organization

Can I choose which charity receives my donation?+

Yes! During checkout, you can select your preferred charity partner. If you choose "Platform Choice", we'll distribute donations across all partners based on current needs.

How can I verify donations are being made?+

Transparency is important to us! We publish quarterly donation reports showing total amounts donated to each charity partner.

Each charity also provides acknowledgment receipts that we can share upon request. Contact us if you'd like documentation of donations made from your purchase.
